In order to update your EKP V Software, get the AvMap Suite!

The AvMap  Suite is a PC application that helps you keeping your EKP V up-to-date, managing maps and sharing contents.

1. Download on your PC AvMap Suite (this operation is necessary only once).

2. Connect your EKP V to the PC with the USB cable, and check through the Suite if there is a Software update available for your navigator.

3. Download the EKP V update for free and install it following the instructions on the Suite.

Connect  your EKP V the PC periodically to keep it up-to-date!

Changes since v1.12.96R:
New features:
    - EULA page added in ABOUT page (press ENTER on the ABOUT page to enter EULA page)
Improvements:
    - EFIS: NEW compass calibration procedure (download updated A2 ADAHRS manual for instructions at avionics.avmap.it)
    - EFIS: auto-powering off popup message covered the horizon view.
    - EFIS: horizon alignment procedure could give incorrect result without "Reset calibration" command execution.
    - Checklists editing did not work for some lists.
    - Traffic: sometimes EKP V did not interface with the traffic receiver on COM A port until the port was re-selected.
    - Airport frequencies with 3 decimals precision supported (Jeppesen cycle 1904 is required).

How to get Customer Support
for your AvMap device:


1.   Register your Navigator

2.   Read the FAQ section

3.   If you do not find the answer to your problem, then write us filling the online Assistance form

4.   The Customer Support will reply providing you instructions and the Call Center phone number.

5.   If the problem cannot be solved over the phone, you will receive via email a repair code  ‘RMA’ with all the instructions to send us your navigator for repair.
